Role
I was a UI designer for this project in ideating early concepts, running design sprints, translating from UX design [from user-flow until low-fidelity] to high-fidelity design, and delivering final assets and illustration for engineers. I worked with multiple cross-functional teams that included my fellow designer product, 2 product managers, and 6 engineers.

Problem Statement 💣
After some research, our product team find out that users didn’t exactly know what Eduka System could offer for them. We’ve heard from our users that the old landing page is stressful due to an extraneous and unprioritized overload of information, and mostly the old design is outdated.
Our product team also wants to improve the design and inform the users about our new features, including the simulation tryout and also giving them interaction while visiting our landing page.

-

Understand topics that are currently discussed in school.
-
Familiarize herself with various type of questions based on her teachers’.
Pain Points:
-
No time for study, her time is spent mostly on doing her assignments.
-
Getting distracted when she is actually studying.
-
Less motivated to study because she can’t track her peers’ progress and don’t feel the urge to study.
-
Hard to find affordable and accessible relevant questions.
The Process ✍🏻
So, with ideas for a redesign in mind, I began ideating with my team. We wanted to engage the user right away with a quick call to action and an attention-simulation tryout. We also wanted to immediately highlight the main features that Eduka System provided. We wanted to organize the landing page in a hierarchical yet simple way, prioritizing information that would be important for users. Here are some initial information architecture and low-fidelity design of what we envisioned for the redesign:
